Project Supremacy Plugin Compatibility Notice

Thank you for choosing to use Project Supremacy.  We have spent a lot of time and money to make the plugin one of the top SEO plugins in the market.

We now have the data from thousands of installs of the plugin and our users typically have a wide variety of hosts, other plugins and theme builders that may cause compatibility issues with the plugin.

Please read the information below to avoid known issues before installing the plugin.

Hosting Compatibility & ionCube

Project Supremacy is a tightly secured & encrypted plugin using the ionCube architecture.  This simply means that in order to install a working version of the plugin, your hosting provider must have ionCube loaders installed in your hosting account.

You will immediately know that your host does not have ionCube installed if you get a php error like this when you try to activate the plugin:

The file /home/yoursite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/project-supremacy/main.php was encoded with the PHP 5.3 ionCube Encoder and requires PHP 5.3 to be installed.

The solution however is typically quite easy.

  1. Submit a support ticket to your hosting provider and request that ionCube is installed on your hosting account.
  2. Attempt to install ionCube yourself, the articles below should help.

Approved Hosts

Avoid the ionCube error before you get it by using one of the approved hosts below.

If you still get an ionCube error with these hosts, their support department will easily be able to fix the issue as ionCube is a confirmed feature of these hosts.

Themes & Builders Compatibility

Project Supremacy and it’s 4 associated short codes (Internal Link, Affiliate, Youtube, Pixabay) on the page/post editor will work with most WordPress themes by default because they use the TinyMCE editor as pictured below.

However, we know that there are literally hundreds if not thousands of different themes and page builders out there, of which some are not co-operating with Project Supremacy.  Please understand that we cannot become compatible with every page builder on the market.  There are just far too many.

The only requirements needed for your Page Builder & Theme to be able to work with Project Supremacy is that your page builder support the TinyMCE editor in the building process.

Recommended Themes & Page Builders

  • AvadaTheme – This is what Project Supremacy uses for this exact site!  We love it!
  • ElegantThemes  – A large collection of premium themes including the very popular DIVI.
  • BeThemes – 150 Local Site Templates!  Great for lead gen, rank and rent.

Additional Plugins Compatibility

There are literally millions of WP plugins on the market now and with that many, there are bound to be conflicts that happen; two plugins for whatever reason will cause issues with one another.  We have seen this happen already with Project Supremacy.

Once again we would love to be compatible with 100% of the other plugins on the market, but this is simply unrealistic.

So if you notice any strange issues with your site once you install Project Supremacy, it could be a conflicting plugin and here is how you would check.

  • Deactivate ALL plugins on your site except for Project Supremacy and see if the error still occurs.
    • If YES, then the issue is not a plugin compatibility, but possibly a theme or hosting issue.  Try another theme, or send a support ticket to your host with the problem.
    • If NO, than you have an incompatible plugin!  To find out which one activate your plugins one by one, until the original issue presents itself again and you will have found your conflicting plugin.  From here simply choose which plugin is more important to you.
    • There may be multiple conflicting plugins, so once you find the first one you’ll need to deactivate it again, and continue the process as outlined above to find any additional conflicts.

Security Plugins

So far the only issues we have seen with security plugins such as WordFence, Sucuri & Acunetix is that your Schema Validator will not run properly, it will just hang.  We believe this is because there is an external request trying to access your site to read it’s code, and your security plugin is blocking it!

However, you can always check your schema validation quickly and easily from Google’s Schema Validator Tool for free if you do not want to turn off your security plugins.
